In the agricultural and forestry industries, noise pollution and hand-arm vibration (HAV), a major factor in vibration white finger (VWF), are critical occupational health issues. Small-business agricultural employees, frequently in a single-family setting, are, therefore, excluded from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations on noise and hand-arm vibration, a factor not present in most other industries. The agricultural/forestry workforce faces a heightened risk of hearing damage, as their shifts frequently exceed the standard 8-hour work day. An investigation into the potential correlation between hearing sensitivity and simultaneous noise and hand-arm vibration exposure was the aim of this study. A study of the relevant literature was undertaken to analyze the relationship between noise exposure and hearing problems in agricultural and forestry jobs. A UK-based study, involving key stakeholders, aimed to create a program theory elucidating the mechanisms by which school-based interventions impact LGBTQ+ young people's mental health, reducing problems, and explaining the conditions under which they work. Realist interviews with UK secondary school students (LGBTQ+, 13-18 years), intervention practitioners, and school staff were conducted online (N = 10, 9, and 3, respectively). For determining the causal routes through which interventions impacted mental health positively, a realist retroductive strategy of data analysis was employed. The theoretical framework of our program illustrates how school-based interventions targeting the dominant cisgender and heterosexual norms can improve the mental health of LGBTQ+ students. Following international trends, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and heated tobacco products (HTPs) are now available in Lebanon. Elucidating the determinants of e-cigarette and HTP use among young adults in Lebanon is the aim of this study. In Lebanon, participants aged 18-30 who demonstrated familiarity with e-cigarettes were recruited using both snowball sampling and convenience sampling. Thematic analysis was applied to the verbatim transcriptions of Zoom interviews with twenty-one consenting individuals. The expectancy theory of outcomes guided the classification of results into motivators and inhibitors of usage. Participants interpreted HTPs as an alternative mode of nicotine delivery, similar to traditional smoking methods. E-cigarette and HTP use was seen by most participants as a healthier alternative to conventional cigarettes and water pipes, with the potential to support cessation efforts. Electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products (HTPs) were easily obtainable in Lebanon; despite this, the current economic hardship has made e-cigarettes less affordable. One year post-curriculum implementation, 212 pharmacy undergraduate students were given survey instruments. We requested that the students complete the instrument, whose indicators were assessed using a 7-point Likert scale. The findings demonstrated that the quality of faculty members and institutional resources are strongly correlated with ICPDF.
